On Vancouver Island, I recommend Earth Tones (Deep Greens, Rust, Ochre, Navy). Avoid neon colors or large logos that distract from your face.
Think wool knits, linen, or denim. Textures add depth to Black & White portraits and resonate with the rugged West Coast landscape.
The apprehension you feel is normal. My approach is built on conversation. We won't start shooting until you feel grounded. There is no need to "pose"—I will guide your movement naturally.
Location: We will confirm the exact GPS coordinates 48h before the shoot based on the weather and fog conditions.
Weather: We shoot in the rain! The "misty" look of the Island is what makes your portraits unique. Only extreme wind will lead to a reschedule.
